The beautiful thing of today are the little pink petals that fall from blossoming springtime trees and catch in the wind and look like confetti. Have you ever wondered what wind looks like? We feel it all the time but we can't see it's shapes and patterns and ripples and billows until something is caught in it, like petals. Then suddenly the wind makes an image, like a pointillist drawing. The dots are not connected exactly, but they make a whole. And we can see the way the wind impacts things, especially water, as if the wind leaves a handprint, a shadow, or a ghost message to indicate that it was there and is very much alive. I love looking at the patterns in water surfaces, especially the ocean. I love the ocean... I love a lot of things!
